I watched on Friday the movie 'Miss Potter' from telly about the life of illustrator Beatrix Potter and I was carried away with rabbits wearing blue velvet coats, cunning mice, frogs with fishing rods and newts in stylish vests.

It was quite a nice movie starring Renée Zellweger (though I always will imagine her as Bridget Jones) and at some point it was also very sad. I really liked the animated drawings, bunnies coming to life and goose honking. Also I wasn't aware how much she has worked with wild life preservation in Lake District.

So here's a little illustration about the Peter Rabbit and some of his friends.

Snake Dance

Here's a little illustration of one of my favorite goddesses, minoan Snake Goddess. Statues representing her are found from ancient city of Knossos, beautiful Crete. I recently watched 'Clash of the Titans' in 3d cinema and I was very delighted to see in one of the interior scenes a banquet hall dancers wearing similar minoan style dresses and headgear.
